I want your advice

Many people cycle from Land's End to John O'Groats for charity... I asked for contributions of advice instead... These various wisdoms, generously given, were written down, then put here... What have I learnt in approximately 874 miles under my own steam & arriving on 26th May 2008 on foot?.. I have learnt more acceptance of what happens whilst pursuing a goal... The ongoing challenge is to graciously work with advice given. Taking advice is...difficult, quixotic and fun.

Loch Ness Youth Hostel

You know when you've done it, not when you get there - but about 10 miles before you get there.
Roger (Who did it on a supported (bags carried) CTC ride, with someone who did it 4 times that summer!)
